10 mins downtime

Hello everyone,

Expect 10 mins downtime, we are mounting old servers to new ones so we complete relaunch. We have been fighting with some very persistent bugs the last few days. New site will be optimized for IE7, we have fixed most of the bugs on IE6 but still there maybe few.

Site updates prior to relaunch…

Hello everyone,

Today has been a little difficult day for all of us, espcially you that are using the service but you will be paid off, be sure for that

Today will be the finall system update so we complete service relaunch sometime in the first week of November, we have added another 22 servers ready to be loaded with your files. Total servers on our network are 44, pretty good if we think back when we started with a just 1 server.

We expect to complete system update in the next 7-8 hours from now, we know it is long but we cannot do otherwise, just be patient few more hours.

Another important corporate update is that Hercules Backup software will soon be available via Amazon.com and a major US Retail outlet, we will let you know about that once it is finalized.

Relaunching Orbitfiles.com

Hello everyone,

First of all i would like to apologize to everyone for getting a little late back to your support inquiries. We are very busy the last few weeks preparing Orbitfiles.com Relaunch

The way you manage your files will change entirely, more user friendly and few more features for you such as : Website redesign, Automated backups with Hercules and Orbitfiles Flashplayer

We are preparing a files widget as well so you can display all your files at blogs, forums and websites.

We expect to relaunch sometime next week, but there will be a day notice because some functions may be dissabled for few hours.

In the next few days Orbitfiles.com will change entirely. New design is almost done and some new exciting features such as Orbitfiles.com media and video player and widgets to post all your files on your blogs, site and forums.

Also, we will be launching Orbitfiles.com in various languages, so whoever is interested to translate Orbitfiles.com in his native language please email support. Those who help us will get a free unlimited storage account for ever

Also, we have enabled commenting on files commenting on folders is coming soon as well.

New Hercules has been released

Hello everyone,

We have completed development of new Hercules Uploader. Updating will be made in 2 phases. First phase will include all functions apart from automated back ups and synch. In the next 5 days or so we expect to have completed development of these features too.

We will make another posting once it is ready for download as we configure some last issues.
